We have many fond memories of the time worked together with Jim at BMO on the Tech&Ops Audit team and Tech Operational Risk Management team. Jim was always a gentleman, a kind person, a strong team player, enjoyed having good fun while getting the work done! He also tolerated rubber chicken antics and annual May the Fourth messages! In 1981 we moved to Pickering and one evening after dinner we went for a walk and ended up meeting Jim and Nora who had just moved there as well and living only four doors down the street. We became friends and over the years our children became fond of Graham Debbie and David as we did. We took several trips with Jim and Nora both on land and sea and enjoyed their company immensely. We all moved away eventually but still maintained our friendship through visits and phone calls. 43 years is a true testament to our level of friendship. We will miss Jim greatly; however, he will always be with us in spirit.

Nora & family,
Ron & I are so very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He truly was a good man, friend and willing to take on helping where ever he could. He enjoyed participating in Shawville United Church choir, worked in many positions of the church, he worked with the Fall Supper, delivered clothing from the church to the mission in Ottawa regularly as well....anywhere he could be of help, he offered. He will be greatly missed in the community. Jim, rest in eternal peace.
