Obituary of Lillian Horner (nee Brown)

Peacefully, with her husband by her side Lillian passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 82 years old at the Pontiac Community Hospital.  Daughter of the late Roy and Florence Brown. Loving wife of Jim Horner for 59 years and devoted mother of Leona (Mike) and Mark (Erin).  Deeply missed by her two granddaughters Emily and Maggie.  Cherished sister of George (Rita), Debbie (Brian) and Danny (Maurice) and the late David Brown (Mavis). Sister in law of Hubert (Claudette) and Wynonna Horner. 

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 10 to 11:40 a.m.  Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Shawville, Quebec.  Interment Village Cemetery.  The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff of the Pontiac Community Hospital for their care and compassion towards Lillian and her family during this difficult time.  Donations towards St Paul’s Anglican Church in memory of Lillian would be appreciated.  May she rest in peace.
