Obituary of Bernadette Joyce (nee Milks)

It is with great sadness that the Joyce family announce the passing of our mother Bernadette Catherine Milks on March 11, 2024, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Gerald Robert (Bob) Joyce. Daughter of the late Ellen (Nellie) Mulcahey and Hector Milks. Predeceased by her  sisters and brothers: Audrey, Ellard, Arnold, Elva, Helen and Marion. She leaves her children: Tony, Melissa and Patrick (Cheryl Rochon), grandchildren Rebecca, Shyane and Aaron, her sisters-in-law Reta Milks, Elaine Hayes, and Audrey Howard; brother-in-law Danny Scissons; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bernadette was proud of her history with the The "Milks" House,a landmark in Cantley, Quebec.The funeral service, in the presence of the ashes, will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 11:00 am at St Mary's Church, Quyon, Quebec.  Burial of the ashes at a later date. A special thanks to Dr Smith, Long-term care(CHSLD Pontiac), all the nurses and personnel who gave her the best possible care that she appreciated so much.
