Obituary of Cylenia Olmstead
The moment your heart stopped ours changed forever
Cylenia Olmstead, who loved to be called GMA by so many, departed her family February 25, 2024.
Cylenia was born in Smiths Falls to William Albert (Bert) Olmstead and Jessie Helen Olmstead (McLaren) on April 2, 1941. The oldest of five, she was the sister to George, Randy, Glenda and Debbie.
Cylenia was a woman with grace and dignity, who raised her children Tracy (Glen) and Candi (late Phil) with much love and devotion. Family was her world. She spent her summers at the lake enjoying all it’s beauty and winters in Florida with her brothers.
She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren who could never do any wrong - Adam (Christine), Melissa (Jeff), Owen (Bethany) and Madison. Great Gma to her girls Norah, Maci, Hannah, and "BAKA" to Maevery Rose, all of whom she cared so deeply
