Obituary of Violet Kluke (nee Leach)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Violet Kluke (nee Leach) on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 in Otter Lake, Quebec at the age of 105.  Daughter of the late John Leach and Susan Swede.  Loving wife of the late Theodore Kluke.  Adored mother of late Joseph, Christiane (Philip) (late Kenneth), Doreen (Robert), Lorraine (late Gordon), late Benjamin (Rosemary) (late Lucille), late Kenneth, Gail (Emil) (late Willard), Patrick (Marie), late Michael (Beverley) and Pamela (late Gale).  Survived by her sister Esther (late Edmond) and predeceased by siblings; Christine (late Emil), Rosie (late Martin), Fosine, William (late Catherine), Victor (Francis), Peter (Ernestine), Benny (Ollie) and by 2 granddaughters.

Survived by 27 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.  She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, 2024 in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Otter Lake, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment in the spring in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.  Following the Mass, a reception will be held in the Raymond Johnson Hall.
