Lyons was an amazing neighbour. He was always active with his yard work. Always kind. My boys loved riding their bikes up and down his driveway. He would sit there in his garage and answer their million questions. They are 3 & 4. Lyons will be greatly missed he was such a wonderful person. Sending our condolences to his family.

Lyons and I have been telephone friends for over a year and we talked nearly every day. Our last chat was Saturday Dec. 02/23 a.m. and he said he was fine. We often chatted about when folk passed away suddenly how fortunate they were.

Lyons and I were good friends in our early 20s we had a lot of fun playing and travelling together. Lyons met Hennie and they were married a couple of years later, when I was pleased to be his Best Man at their wedding in Hudson Quebec. They spent a few years in Sudbury before moving back to the Shawville area. We kept in touch over the years by phone. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
