Obituary of Elsie Gordon

In hospital Shawville, Quebec on December 9, 2014 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Cecil Gordon. Predeceased by her brothers John (late Grace) and George (late Doreen) Dunlop and sisters Myrtle (late Raymond Maloney), Sadie (late Edwin Pirie), Lillian (late Ken Hodgins) and Gladys (late Roland Metcalfe). Admired and loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by many friends and neighbours, members of the Women’s Institute, Orange Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star, as well as by her faithful companion Boots, her beloved Chihuahua. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. An L.O.B.A. Service will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. There will be no visitation on Monday. Funeral service and reception will be held in St. Andrews Knox United Church, Bristol, Quebec on Monday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
