To the Carmichael/McKinley families and Bill's wife Judy, and to his extended family including in particular Bev Neill and Dianne C - Im so sorry to hear that Bill has passed. I remember him so well as a teen when he lived with Russ and Georgina in Fallowfield during his work week at CBN. He was so good to Bev and Georgie and to all of Bev's friends including myself . I also remember how although in reality he was quite a young guy (tho as teens we thought if him as quite old) he spoke so respectfully and affectionately of his Mom Anna and his family.
I also remember when we turned 18 and he took us to the Glen Lee :)) He did have a slight bit of the devil in him :))) I say that with respect

Oh Sue, thank you so much. I have many great memories of those years, not the least of which was our night at The Glenlea!
And yes, Bill was very good to all of us, even when we were teasing him…the old man. Lol
Unfortunately we aren’t in Ottawa right now so I can’t be at his service today.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Bill’s passing. I enjoyed working with him at CBN, he was always helpful. It was even more fun going to the Trade Shows in TO where he was very interesting. A good man who I believe will be missed .
