Obituary of Ben Kingsbury

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ben Kingsbury, who left us very suddenly on Monday, June 5, 2023 at the age of 77.  Beloved son of the late Heldore Kingsbury and Emma Kilbride.  He leaves to mourn his brothers; John “Jack” (Debbie Ann), Dominic (Charlotte), Roger (Donna) and Lorne as well as his sisters; Barbara, Joan Richard, Denise (Sam Haddad) and Debbie (Romeo).  Predeceased by his siblings; Geraldine (Jaques Dupont), Alice, Rose (Willy Williams), Theresa (Maurice Kingsbury), Betty (Don Jocob), Shirley (Jim Knox) and Hilda (Amy Legere).  Ben will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends we consider family; Ray Johnston, Lillian Webber and Ward Lance.

Ben was a proud member of the Quyon Legion and Lions club.

Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon Street, Quyon, Quebec on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, June 8 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Quyon at 11 a.m. followed by interment in the parish cemetery. 

Family and friends are welcome to join us for a light lunch at the Quyon Legion, 26 St. John Street, Quyon, Quebec following the interment.
