Dear Mr. Wentworth & family’s:
So sorry to her about the passing of your beloved wife, Gwen.
I remember so well going to PPHS High school in the 70’s where you both were teachers.
You and Mrs. Wentworth were two of the most friendly, knowledgeable, and kindness people I have came across in my life.
You both were so easy to talk to.
I had you, Ken as an english teacher and loved every moment of it.
Your approach and wisdom to your students was outstanding.
Thanks to you, Ken my composure of letters and stories have carried me through life very well.
My family still depend on me to compose their letters and stories.

Mr. Wentworth, Ken, Stephen, spouses and grandchildren: please accept my condolences on the occasion of Gwen’s passing. As a student and as a visitor to the Wentworth home I always recognized and certainly recall Gwen’s kindness and humour. It’s nice to see so many tributes here; Gwen made a great and lasting impression on many students in her teaching career, and I think Ken Jr.’s friends specifically will agree she was a bit of a mom to all of us. We are all grateful for our memories of her.

My sincere sympathy to Ken and your family. Gwen helped to organize the Teachers lunch for many years. Gwen would tease me about a mishap that I had one year. When I arrived she would remind me about the incident. and we would laugh. When I attended Shawville United there would be Ken and Gwen sitting in their pew, regular attendees.
