Obituary of Bruce Hamilton Davis

It is with a heavy and broken heart that we announce the passing of Sergeant Bruce Hamilton Davis.  Passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 in Renfrew Hospice, after a brief but brave fight with cancer, at the age of 78.  Bruce served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 30 years.  Bruce leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Helen (nee O’Brien) and his three adored children, William (Lori), Joan (Victor) and Tyler.  He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren; Kyanna, Cord, Skye, Sierra and Cole. Bruce was fond of antique cars, motorcycles and his adorable Boston Terriers. Bruce is predeceased by his mother Gloria (nee Graham) and his brother Wade. He is survived by his siblings, Sandra, Richard, David and Cindy and his in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 19,  2023 in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec at 11 a.m.  Interment parish cemetery.

Bruce was an incredible husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Gone too soon. If desired, donations in honour of Bruce’s memory can be made to the Renfrew Hospice, where he received exceptional care in his final days.
