Obituary of Marilyn Emma Morris (nee Marchildon)

In her 79^th year after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Marilyn Morris of Chapeau, Quebec passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25^th  2023, surrounded by her family in hospital, Shawville, Quebec.  Daughter of the late Leonard and Aline Marchildon (nee Chaput).  Loving and cherished wife of Harold Morris.  Dear mother of Tim (Sandra), Terry (Erin) and Tammy (George Heissler).  Caring grandmother to Amber (Brady), Greg, Jon (Kyleigh), Alyssa, Molly and Nicholas. Special sister-in-law to Cecil (Carmel), late Anne (late Lawrence Malone), Helen (Marcel), Fidelis (late Leo Paul), Verna (Pat), Arnold (Brenda), Bob (Theresa) and Clifford (David).  Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Special and loving friend (sister) to Deanna (Wesley) Ranger and forever remembered by her neighbours.  At Marilyn’s request cremation has taken place.  A very special thank you to Dr. Benfy and the staff at the CLSC, the nurses at the Palliative Care Unit of the Shawville Hospital, Fr. Scott Murray, Ev Manley, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, Quebec at 11:00 a.m.   As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
