Obituary of Jason Mousseau

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Jason K. Mousseau at the Hull Hospital on December 2, 2022 at the age of 43. Beloved son of Nicole Drouin and the late Kevin J. Mousseau. Loving brother of Bruce M. Mousseau (Heather) and cherished uncle of Nicholas, Sophie and Austin. Cherished surrogate dad to Jordan Davis. He will be missed by his aunts and uncles: Michel Drouin (Ginette), Patrick Mousseau (Loretta), Mary Mullan (Jim), John Mousseau (Janet) and Margaret Ann Mousseau (Michael McCrank). He will also be missed by many cousins, and greatly missed by coworkers and friends. Jason’s career as a hoisting engineer, crane operator began as an apprentice during the summer of 2006. In April 2008 he received his certificate of qualification as a Hoisting engineer, tower crane operator. He worked for Right Forming Kingston and Right Forming Ottawa, then with Bellai Brothers and Bellai Alliance. He enjoyed his years as a crane operator, having a bird’s eye view of the construction sites. Gone too early he will be missed by most who met him and those who knew him. A Celebration of Life for Jason will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous faisons part du décès de Jason K. Mousseau survenu le 2 décembre 2022 à l’âge de 43 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère Nicole Drouin, pré décédé par son père Kevin J Mousseau, son frère Bruce M Mousseau (Heather) et ses neveux Nicholas et Austin et sa nièce Sophie. Il sera grandement manqué comme père de substitution par Jordan Davis. Il sera manqué par ses tantes et ses oncles: Michel Drouin (Ginette), Patrick Mousseau (Loretta), Mary Mullan (Jim), John Mousseau (Janet) et Margaret Ann Mousseau (Michael McCrank). Il sera aussi manqué par plusieurs cousins, cousines, grandement manqué par ses collègues de travail et son cercle d’amis. Depuis avril 2008, Jason était qualifié comme opérateur de grue-tour et avait fait ses preuves avec Right Forming Kingston, Right Forming Ottawa, Bellai Brothers et Bellai Alliance.
Décédé trop tôt, il sera manqué par la plupart qui l’ont rencontré et par ceux qui l’ont connu. Une Célébration de la Vie de Jason aura lieu à le dimanche 16 avril 2023 à la Maison Funéraire Tubman, 3440 Chemin Richmond, Ottawa, Ontario de 13h à 16h.
