Obituary of Theresa Angus

Peacefully, at the Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, P.Q. on Sunday November 2nd in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Nelson N. Angus. Cherished mother to Blair (Nancy), Blaine (Erica), Peter and Chris. Admired and loved by her 9 grandchildren, Shealyn, Katrina, David, Justin, Daniel, Ben, Holly, Chelsea & Jayden. Terry is survived by her sisters, Rean Brennan (late Bernie), Louise Mason (late Jerry), Catherine Durelle (late Harold) and half brother Oland Schofield (Bev). Predeceased by sisters Phoebe Duplessis (late Ted), Viola Manuel (late Tim), Donalda Thibault (Lou) and brother Robert Jenkins. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Dora Buckley (late Art). Predeceased by brother- in- law Donald Angus (late Enid). Daughter of the late Donald Jenkins and Barbara Thibeau of Baie Ste Anne, N.B. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Terry was a dedicated nurse. She graduated from the nursing program at The Hotel Dieu Hospital in Bathurst, N.B. in 1952 and after working briefly in Fort Erie, Ont. she came to Shawville in March 1955 and worked passionately at the Pontiac Community Hospital until she retired in 1992. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday November 4, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. There will be no visitation on Wednesday. Funeral to be held at St. Edwards Church, Bristol, P.Q. on Wednesday November 5, 2014 at 11am.The family is most grateful to the doctors, nursing staff and volunteers at the Palliative Care unit of the PCH for their care and compassion.
