Uncle Oscar was one of my favourite Uncles in the world! I’ve known him since I was a kid since he and Denise met and started dating .He was always so easy to make laugh and He had a great sense of humour and he laughed so easily with that slow easy grin!

Dear Lynne, Dan, and Gaëtan and family,
My memories of growing up as your neighbour are rich with images of Oscar walking around the yard, keeping his land immaculate, and the beautiful woodworking he did. I remember being up early as a kid, waiting to hear Oscar in his shop so I could sneak over and see what he was creating. I loved to watch him tilling his garden and working with his beautiful Belgians. In fact, Oscar was one of the forces that inspired my love of horses (especially heavy horses)and farming. He never seemed to have a huge amount to say, but always made us feel welcomed. I remember him as a hardworking man who had a sparkle in his eyes and a silent grin that warmed up any place he was in. Although Oscar had a gentle smile and few words, he was also not afraid to give us trouble when we got into mischief as kids. I have to say, it was an honour and a joy to have grown up to know Oscar, and it pains me to hear of his sudden passing. My heart aches for all those who loved him. I send my love and deepest condolences from my family to your family and all those who loved him. Without a doubt, Oscar has left an incredible legacy that you all must be proud of.

I first met Oscar when driving his late wife with Transporaction. I always admired his antiques and Christmas display, breakfast chats and seeing him dancing at Bryson. My deepest sympathies to everyone of his family members, neighbors and friends. We have lost a great man.
