Obituary of Russell Taber

Retired after 35 years Ottawa Police Force Peacefully in hospital on October 14, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Loving husband of 62 years of Janet Andrus. Beloved father of Glen (Lise), James (Joy), Susan (Geoff Beale), Anne (Denis Nicholas) and Sandy (Blake Draper). Cherished grandfather to Jay-Dee, Elizabeth, Corissa (Martin), Scott (Ann Marie), Guy (Pamela), Christine (Michelle), Dominic (Natasha), Gabrielle & Sasha. Special great grandpa to Avery & Hailey. Uncle Russ to Robert Mellor, Taber (Tom), Findlay & Donna McLennan. Predeceased by parents Hazel & Clifford Taber & sister Gwen. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon St., Quyon, Quebec on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. & Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am. Funeral to Wesley United Church, Beechgrove, Quebec on Saturday, October 18 for service at 11 am., followed by interment at Mohr’s Cemetery. Donations to the Wesley United Church, Mohr’s Cemetery or Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
