Mr.Lee, I couldn’t help but think of all the times you made me laugh. How hospitable you were and how much you appreciated my cooking. Always full of good conversations and stories. It had been some time since we crossed paths but there is a deep rooted history that my heart cannot ignore. Regardless of how the cards had fallen my heart is sad. God speed Lee and rest easy. Valerie.

From Barry McLaughlin:
"I was always so grateful to hear your distinct voice, Lee. You and all those guys built a winning hockey team. You were the goalie.
A true diamond in the rough. You were mischevious, kind and funny. You could get right down to it, but at the same time, one knew it wasn't going to last...something like a mouse trap! LOL!!! Thanks for sharing those combination Pizzas with me!!

Sending love to all who loved Lee. What a character!! He leaves alot of memories of laughter and antics. I can't even imagine the chaos of him, Jeff and Stuart all up there together, but I know the reunion will be boisterous!! He will be missed.

Would like to express my deepest sympathies to family. Know Lee since elementary and as I read Nancy Pecks tribute it brings a smile to my face. Remember Lee and Stewart well with their shenanigans. RIP

Dearest Mary, Yvette, Sarah and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Lee's passing. What great memories I have of anytime I was with Lee. He made me smile. He made me laugh all the time. He had such a big heart. He was one guy that I knew, would always give you the shirt off his back.
I fondly remember Lee and Stuart McLaughlin being in grade 4 and 5 together. Ohhh they were mischievous. They would have the whole class laughing. I remember them climbing out onto the ledge of the second story windows in Elementary School. The teacher came in and said "Where's Lee and Stuart" .... then he noticed them in the windows. He went and slammed the windows shut... all you could hear, was Lee and Stuart laughing, then yelling and hitting the ground. They were fine! But they had been caught! Another time they lay on the shelves in the cupboards. The teacher came in and said "Where's Lee and Stuart?" No one said anything. Stuart yelled out "is the teacher never going to get here... it's hot in here, as she opened the closet door and dragged them both out by the ears. Down to the principal's office, lads! Anything for a laugh. And they had us laughing all the time.
We played Mosquito hockey together. He was such a good skater and scorer. Lee loved anything to do with being outside.
He loved to fish. Every time you saw him as a young lad he would have a fishing pole in his hand and be off to Mason's creek or a lake somewhere. He was concerned about everyone when you would meet up with him no matter where it was. "How's this person? And that person? Be sure to say hi for me!".
Lee was ALWAYS so nice to me. I truly adored him.
Sure he has his demons, as we all do. But his heart was made of gold. I wish I had had the chance to tell him, how much he meant to me growing up. He was so easy to talk to all the time. Well, now that he's in heaven, I will have a chat with him. Next time I go fishing, I will have that chat and I know he will put another great memory in my head and make me laugh.
God's speed to the best fishing hole in heaven Lee. I'll meet you there one day God willing, and you can show me all the good spots.
Tips up buddy!
We will always love ya and miss ya!
Nancy Peck and Tex Wilson.
