Obituary of Marcel Francoeur

Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home, Friday, September 2, 2022 at the age of 69. Son of the late Florian Francoeur and the late Thelma and Roy Corrigan.

Absolutely amazing loving father to Melanie (Cory Samson).  He will be sadly missed by his two favorite grandsons Benjamin Sauriol (Melanie Boisvert) and Parker Sauriol (Maude Herault).  He is survived by his two sisters Joanne Corrigan (Mireille Lacroix) and Margaret Hurley (Gordon Hurley), his nieces; Terri Adams (Joey Soucie), Sarah Soulard, Lesley Launders and Angie Launders.

He will be greatly missed. Words cannot express our gratitude for all those who have called, texted and sent messages of love, strength and courage.  He was my Dad, my Chum, my world exploring companion, my heart.  Dad you will be missed for your straight shooting no guff sense of will and humour.  He adored spending time with his grandsons and looked so forward to playing cards with his friends three days a week.

A private service will take place at a later date.  Thank you all again, for your love and support.  Until we meet again Papa xoxo…
