Clarke left an indelible mark on my early career, offering me a job at the Harmony Foundation and thus a workplace to learn and grow in for nearly 5 years. Here are a couple of shots of him from that time. I'm sure he impacted countless other lives in many small and large ways. My deepest sympathies to Esther and the rest of his loved ones on his passing.

Jeni and I were lucky to have become friends with Clarke and Esther through our Harmony Foundation connection. I second Digger McDougall's statement about the positive impact Clarke's leadership time with the Foundation. It was just unfortunate that he wasn't able to stay on to continue the positive strides he was making with the Foundation. But, the best part was developing our friendship with Esther and Clarke. He will be missed.

Clark was a strong, unique leader- always displaying a generous, friendly attitude toward coworkers and persons he met in his work. We remember him well at RWC, and thought he made one of his best decisions to partner with Esther in marriage! My Dad, Ellwood Voller, saw his talents as well. We send our love and condolences to your family, knowing your inheritance of faith is strong. The phrase, “ He has arrived” lifts all our sights to the giver of Eternal life. Warmly, Carolee and Dave Hamilton

I was so sorry to learn of Clark’s passing. My first memories of him are as a member of the Lorne Park College quartet at a youth retreat for the Muskoka District of the Free Methodist Church. His bright smiles, red hair and wonderful tenor voice were compelling. It was at that retreat where the quartet’s renditions of Massey Hall all night sing songs and Gary Walsh’s energetic preaching cemented my call to serve the Lord. Later at Lorne Park my paths would cross with Clark and my appreciation for his passion for music would increase. We last met at the LPC reunion just a couple of years back. Thank you Clark for your determination to know our Lord and serve Him. I am sure you arrived for your reward singing, “I woke up this morning feeling fine, I woke up with heaven on my mind, I woke up with joy in my soul for I knew the Lord had control!” Dave Gyertson LPC 1966

Nancy and I were saddened to learn of the passing of Clarke. As CEO, Clarke was a friend and mentor when I served as a Trustee and Board Member of Harmony Foundation International. To this Day, I believe he was the best thing that happened to the Harmony Foundation International and the Barbershop Harmony Society, at that time. He was a breath of fresh air that the Society needed. He was a visionary leader who understood membership organizations, not for profits and charities. He provided sound counsel to Society and Foundation leaders and introduced change at a time we very much needed to regroup and move forward. He led us into the 21st century with innovative programs and a focus on youth.
He supported my establishing a charity, Sing Canada Harmony Scholarship Fund, to support Barbershop Harmony in Canada
The Barbershop Harmony Community owes a great deal to Clarke.
Nancy and I have fond memories of our friendship with Clarke and Esther. We extend to Esther, family,
Barbershoppers, friends and all whose lives were touched by Clarke, our sincere condolences, with wishes for comfort and peace.
I am proud to have served and worked with Clarke and with Nancy, to have shared his friendship.
May God grant his soul eternal rest.
Digger
