Anna Brown was known & loved by everyone. Growing up in Campbell's Bay Anna greeted each adult & child with stopping & smiling & taking time to have a chat. Anna was about 10 years younger than my mother but I remember only positive stories about what a kind and helpful person Anna was. I always remember Anna smiling & chatting as she walked by the house. A beautiful Person who loved God & it showed in her involvements and her dedication to her Chuch community.

Mom (Gwen Black) tells me that she used to go with Anna on the Smith boat up the River to Hennesey Bay and gather the stray logs in a boom and bring them down the river to the mill in Campbell's Bay. Anna was a good childhood friend and neighbour to Gwen. Anna was a kind gentle person who had a wonderful rapport with children. Miss Molly kept us entertained in church and we kept the congregation entertained with the rhythm band. All thanks to Anna. Fun memories.

Anna was a soft spoken tiny lady who was genuinely interested in others.
In her healthier days she loved to call and chat about anything that was happening in town.

She was one of our more senior citizens who lived most of her life in Campbell's Bay.
