Dear Gail and Ryan families:
My sincere condolences to you all on the passing of Rosaire.
I was hired by Gail at the Shawville Hospital in 2012 as an Accompaganateur to go with patients from the hospital for doctors appointments, a job I love and still do today.
The 1st five years of my job was going to Hull Dialysis Unit, 3 days a week with patients.
It was there I got to know Annette, Rosaire and the Ryan family.
Rosaire and his family were so good to their mom, bringing her there for her treatments 3 days a week from Calumet Island all year long.
I truly admired their dedication to Annette for all those years, never missing a dialysis treatment..
That’s dedication, and family love and support.
I believe Annette was the longest dialysis patient they had for some 30 years.

Rosaire was part of my life as far back as I can remember. His parents were great friends with my parents and we did not live that far apart we walked past their home on our way to school every morning and our way home from school every evening. I was a small child and Rosaire often protected me from the older kids when it was necessary. Later when he married Annette they moved just two houses away from us they were great neighbours and when we moved away from home they took very good care of my parents. Rest in peace Rosaire and Annette and know that we will miss you dearly

À notre formidable père, tu vas nous manquer terriblement, il y aura toujours un très grand vide dans nos vies. Même si tu n’es pas physiquement présent avec nous, que nous pouvons te toucher, te voir, entendre ta voix, nous savons que tu veilleras sur nous, comme tu l’as toujours fait. Nous voulons saluer une personne formidable qui avait comme priorité le bonheur de sa famille. Nous avons adoré le temps que nous avons passé près de toi. Nous n’oublierons jamais les bons moments, les joies, les rires et les peines. Te perdre c’est perdre une partie de nous, c’est également perdre notre professeur, celui qui nous a tout appris. Le chemin sera difficile, mais nous le ferons pour toi, pour honorer ta mémoire, le défi sera de taille. Tous les moments de l’histoire de ta vie resteront à tout jamais gravé dans notre mémoire et nos cœurs. Ils ensoleilleront nos moments sombres. Bon voyage, à notre père que nous adorons, au plaisir de se recroiser dans une autre vie. Va rejoindre celle qui fut ta compagne durant toute ces années. Soit sans crainte nous prendrons soin de tes beaux chevaux.
