Obituary of Jean McMillan

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Jean McMillan at her New Orchard Lodge residence in Ottawa, formerly of Beechgrove, Quebec. Born at Greermount, Quebec daughter of Gordon and Beatrice Smith. Predeceased by her husband Leslie and sons Glenn (Pauline) and John. Fondly remembered and missed by sons Wayne (Dawn) and Dwight (Darleen). Loving grandmother to Beth (Dan Kalil), Brian (Mayumi), David (Colleen), Tracey Boucher, Laurie (Hans Lincourt), Sherri (Shawn Convey), Stuart (Natasha), Stacey (Marcus Blaszczyk) and 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Elma Balharrie and Isabelle Lamb. Predeceased by brothers Ebert and Anderson (in infancy) and sister, Roberta. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 1040 Clarendon St., Quyon, Quebec on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Interment St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Eardley, Quebec. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
