Obituary of Lynden Flood

Peacefully, but suddenly on September 28, 2014 in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Albert Flood and Lucy Gravelle. He leaves behind his beloved companion, Doreen Lance, his son Mark (Cindy Englehart), and his grandchildren James and Rebecca. Dear brother of Lawrence, Mabel, Isabel (Harry Ebert), Shirley Gravelle and Maurice Gravelle, as well as many friends. The world has lost a gentle soul, a great man, but most of all a terrific father and grandfather. He will be missed by all he left behind. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre St., Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 until service time. Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment St. Andrew’s United Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec.
