I am deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Morin. She was always such a happy person. She and my mom were two partners in crime. I remember my mom and Mrs. Morin playing Euchre with their hubbies. It was a wild and loud game. Lots of hammering on the table, and lots of laughs. I bet they are all up there now playing cards; makes me smile to think that they are all together.
I just know how hard it will be for the family to get through this. It is not something you ever get over, just something you get through.
My prayers and thoughts will be with you as you say your final goodbyes. There is some comfort in that we will always know where she is, because she will be in our hearts. All my love.

Dear Emile, Diane, Connie, Lorraine and families, it is with heartfelt sorrow that my sons and I extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. Aunt Eileen has always been our second Mom...that role began the year she married when the newlyweds moved in with my parents.For 5 years, Robert, Claire and I had two Moms...a French Mom who spoke French, and aunt Eileen who only spoke English. I don't recall those years, but, I recall vividly the day aunt Eileen left with Emile in the car and Diane in her arms to go to her farm across the field. Before getting behind the wheel, both Mommy and aunt Eileen were in tears when they embraced...as a child, I did not understand the tears. She took over as Mom for John and Yola when our Mom passed in '69...as well as for Robert, Claire and I. It brought great comfort to us that she, to this day, continued to oversee and care for us. Thank you aunt Eileen for all the love and care you showered on our family. I grieve the earthly angel you were to all ...we loved you dearly...like a Mom. Rest in peace.
