Anyone who knew Stephen knows he had a passion for travelling in his younger years. That passion played on to his wedding day. I think that was the happiest day of his life. He lived out his dream with Patricia in the log house that he,Patricia and other loving hands built. There was nothing that Stephen could'nt do!! You will be deeply missed by many
No more pain
No more suffering
You were a trooper!
Love Joanne Kevin and family

Hi Stephen ,
I have been sitting here thinking what to write tonight.we had been talking the last six month at around this time.We had some long talks and short talks and even when you were in pain and not able to talk I message Patricia to fine out how you were. Some night we’re good and some not so but we manage to have a talk. We would talk about things we did during the day ,I would tell you I was quilting and Wayne was in the garage working on his old truck.I came home on the Thursday from the hospic and lite my candle and you know it is still going.I will try and keep this short ,iam glad there is no more pain and a wise man told me this is another adventure in life .So Stephen you are having another adventure in heaven with Mary and Roy.On that I will say have a good sleep and good night .
God bless
Love Wayne and Heather

Hi Uncle Stephen!...
I wanted to let you know that my heart hurts for this saddening news, but the good side to all this is that your smile, your warmth, and kind gestures have given me and my family light to see the good in this. I remember back in the day when the log house was being built, Grandma and Grandpa were lugging logs, my Dad was giving instructions for its structure, my brother was hammering nails. The end result was a beautiful log cabin for you when you retired. A happy place built with love and care by your family. Such fond memories of this new adventure. We chatted on Facebook quite a few times, which gave me the strength inside to know that you were smiling even though your pain was very unbearable at times. I thought of you often during this period. You are safe now, pain-free, and standing beside your parents, (my grandparents) with huge smiles on each of your faces looking down on me as my guardian angels. You are home now, Stephen. I will miss you dearly and keep you close in my heart. Until we meet again, love you. Your niece and goddaughter, Denise XOXOX. (P.S. every day is a new adventure, Stephen - words from a wise man).
