Obituary of Jennifer Alexander (nee Desjardins)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Shawville, Quebec surrounded with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 55 years old. Beloved daughter of Rita La Salle and the late Roland Desjardins. Loving wife of 32 amazing years to Chris Alexander. Cherished mother of Matthew (Savanah) and Megan. Truly loved and will be sadly missed by her 5 grandchildren; Parker, Cash, Zayden, Maddox and Luna. Survived by her sisters; Cheryl and Karen (Dino Bentivoglio) and her brother Paul (Elizabeth). Jen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Jennifer was a hardworking, selfless, loving woman who devoted her life to her family. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 1041 Clarendon Street, Quyon, Quebec on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 in St. Mary’s Church, Quyon, Quebec in private with the immediate family. Spring interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
