Obituary of Keith Emmerson

Life Legacy Died peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Keith was predeceased by his wife Mona. Loving father of Judy and Paul (Angela). Cherished Grandpa of Natalie (McGyver Barber), Rachel (Matt Kluke), Travis (Trish Racine) and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Blake, Max and Allanah. Survived by sister Leuella (late Edgar Alexander) and brother Bruce (Lillian). Keith will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Keith loved the outdoors. He loved to spend time at Brule Lake, fishing and moose hunting with his friends and Paul. Farming was his passion. He lived to work the fields and care for his animals. Keith will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Thanks to the staff at the respite home in Shawville and to the nurses, staff and Dr. Talko at Pontiac Community Hospital for their outstanding care. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to service time. Funeral on Saturday to Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle for Service at 11 a.m. Interment Shawville Pentecostal Cemetery. Donations to “The Blessed Cupboard” (Shawville Food Bank) in Keith’s honour would be appreciated.
