I was so saddened to hear of Eleanor’s passing. My deepest sympathies to all of Eleanor’s family. I have so many fond memories when I was a teenagers going to choir practice and st.Paddy’s day concerts that our little choir performed at. I remember two, one at Onslow school and one at St. Mary’s. First memory that came to mind of course was a celebration at Dominic and Bunny’s camp….good food, family, friends and music. Although more recent times were not near the same, heaven restores and I’m sure there are a few good jams and card games on the go now.

Our family have so many great memories with Eleanor. Back at the lake, at my parents home Eddie and Joan Desabrais', New Years Eve at Gerry and Ginger McKenny's, anywhere we had music or simply just a visit she was there. She played a big role at St Mary's church and so many more music events. Eleanor will be missed by everyone. I know now she is at peace and no doubt playing a little tune with all that talent in Heaven. RIP Eleanor!

Eleanor will be so missed by all of us. As well as being a very kind person who helped out with anything or anyone she could, she was funny, witty, and with my Uncle Leo, probably knew a thousand songs, and ready to play just about anytime. Times when no-one could think of a song, Eleanor kept the music going. Of course some of the nicest music and harmonies were from Friends in Harmony. Together with the Kennedy girls, Leona and Christina from the McKenny clan, the music was unbeatable.
And thanks to Sean Hart for all the time and effort he has put in to keep Eleanor safe and secure the past number years.
We will miss you, cousin, but we all know without a doubt where you are now. Smile down on us when you think of it? And say Hi to Pat and Leo!

There are so many wonderful memories of Eleanor, her smile and her music. Her philosophy, she told me once, was to just put the guitar in the trunk of her car because there was a good chance she would play it somewhere. We are so grateful that she and Leo and Patricia were so generous with their time and opened up their home for a visit and a tune. Eleanor was a strong supporter of anything going on in Quyon and she and the other Friends in Harmony, and her two other buddies Doug and Rollie, never said no to a request to sing out for any good cause, especially in the Pontiac. St. Mary's benefited so much from her devotion to the church, as did Father Costello!
She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. Miss her very much already. Our sympathies to the family.
