Obituary of Dorothy Stafford (nee Greer)

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Dorothy Anne May Stafford (nee Greer) in her 77^th year joined her beloved husband Oswald in the Kingdom of Heaven on September 14, 2021.  Dorothy’s loss will be profoundly felt by her daughters Tammy (Steven Jacobs), Robyn and Cindy (Andrew Lowry) and her grandchildren Lindsay, Bradley (Kelsey), Ross (Samantha), Sydney and Jana.  Dorothy will also be missed by her many brothers and sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews and by her best friend Sharron.  Special thanks to the nurses at the oncology unit of the Pontiac Community Hospital and the CLSC for the excellent care and services provided.  Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Monday, September 20, 2021 from 2-4  and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in New Hope Christian Fellowship Church, Shawville, Quebec at 1 p.m.  Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation oncology department would be greatly appreciated.
