I’m soo sorry to hear about my uncle Pete. One of my first memories of him was when I was about 4years old. He was staying with us, and it was late at night, and I got up to see what he was doing. He was cooking up a bacon and tomato sandwich. He kept asking me if I wanted one, but I kept saying “no”…he asked me about 5 times. Once he had it made, he asked me again and and being a “little brat” I said “yes”! Instead of getting irritated, he just rolled his eyes, let out a big sighs and gave it to me and made another one for himself! We sat and eat them together. To this day, I think it was the best bacon and tomato sandwich I have ever had!
