Obituary of Albert Wright

Passed away suddenly in hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 78. Son of the late Foster Wright and the late Florence McMaster. Beloved husband of the late Helena McCallum. Loving father of Albert “Terry” (Sandra), Darlene, Brenda (Kevin Malette) and Rhonda (Alan Cave). Devoted grandfather of William, Brayden, Mathew, Jessica, Andrew, Christopher, Autumn, Nathan, Kaylea, Eaton and Kyrane and great grandfather of Lucy, Serena and Haizleigh. Brother of Gladys (Harry), Beulah, Viola (Jim), Arleen (Harold) and Norman (Jennifer). Predeceased by his siblings; baby brother Terry, Norma (late Ernest), Ronald (Cindy), Kathleen (Clarence) and David (Nancy). Albert will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as many friends and extended family. Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside service will take place at the Hillcrest Union Cemetery, Calabogie, Ontario on Wednesday, August 18 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
