Although Roger and I were not close we did share common bonds via the Dubois and Goyette families. Many fun times were had by all be it XMas parties at Bert’s and Gerry’s and/or playing horseshoes at Otter Lake with Donald, Aimé, Roland and Raymond and others like Richard, little Gerry, Marc, Michel, Paul B and Jacques B and many other victims brave enough to take us on. I always enjoyed conversing with Roger. He was always inquisitive and showed particular interest in what we were up to, our travels, the kids, etc. I found Roger to be a reasoned person, well read, interesting and a genuine and caring individual. Over and above that he and his brother Richard were excellent musicians and singers along with other members of the family. Roger will be sadly missed by all and I wish to pass on to Claire , the children and grandkids and Richard my most sincere and heartfelt condolences!

I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire Dubois family during this difficult time. I remember Roger during his playing days in the Quyon Hockey League but moreso as being one of the two goaltenders on the Quyon Flyers championship hockey team in 1968.
