Obituary of Daniel Meharg

Passed away peacefully on Friday July 9th, 2021, with his family by his side. He will be loved forever by his wife, best friend Queen "B" Vickie (Storto), his loving children Cass ( Dominic Morris), Michael (Shauna), Kristen (Ken) and Justin (Shirley).  Very proud Pappie to Cole Sitzes, Sarah and Noah Desmarais and Amber Desmarais.   He is also survived by his 2 children and their families. Son-in-law to Ernie Storto, predeceased by his mother-in-law Evelyn Storto.  He will be missed by his brother-in-law Ian Storto and the rest of the Storto Clan.

He leaves behind his mother and other family in London, Ont. Predeceased by his father Jack Meharg.

Dan has fought the battle for many years, but this fight cannot be won.  We are so thankful for his 2 angels for all the care and help you have given him over the years.  Sarah Noel you have been by his side right to the end and Tania Gagnon you were his girl for many years.  Thank you both so much.  He loved you dearly.

Thank you to all the Doctors and, there have been many.  Special thanks to Dr. Satenstein and Dr. Sabourin for making his final journey a peaceful one.  

It is not good bye, will see you later hon "Love you" was always his last words.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Donations can be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Central Gatineau Arena, Low, Quebec.

Now Dan is fishing in the sky, with his fur baby Benjy by his side...
