My Deepest Condolences to Colleen, Connie and their families.
Jean was an amazing person. Every time I saw Jean, she always had this big smile for me and that smile would make me feel so good. She was a strong woman; she had to be...she coached and transported a softball team of teenage girls. That is a challenge in itself. However, Jean would want us to be strong and to cherish our memories of her. I found this poem and I can see her looking down and saying it to us.
Don't cry for me,
I'm not gone.
My soul is at rest,
my heart lives on.
Light a candle
for me to see
and hold on to
my memory,
but save your tears
for I'm still here,
by your side
through the years.
She'll be missed!

My deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Jean. Jean was a beautiful soul whom was warm, kind, welcoming to all, and always remained strong to her beliefs/values. Throughout the years we shared fun, laughter, stories, long telephone conversations and memories to last a lifetime. Colleen, Connie and families,
My sympathies on your mom's passing. I have so many good memories of time spent at your place, having sleepovers with Colleen. Your mom was always so welcoming. Later as we grew up, coaching kids in softball, driving them to tournaments and looking out for her charges. She was a force. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Jean.
