My sincere sympathy to Jamie, Moyra and Grant and your partners. I was teaching at Victoria Avenue in Shawville in 1964 when Barbara came to teach there. I remember that she taught my Kindergarten Class to sing "I Saw Three Ships". They performed in the old theatre. Frank and I send our deepest sympathies to Jamie, Moyra, and Grant as they mourn the loss of a wife and mother. We have known Barbara for over fifty years or since she married Jamie. I have many wonderful memories of Barbara through teaching and the many times she came to Onslow to be a substitute teacher or a volunteer. She worked tirelessly with her music in preparing students for the many Christmas concerts and other musicals we presented over the years. I taught both Moyra and Grant and welcomed Barbara's assistance as a volunteer on some of our field trips. Her families' memories will sustain them through this time of grieving. May she rest in peace.
