Francine and all the Gauthier Family
Please accept my condolences in the loss of Paul. The Gauthier's have always been my favorite cousins. When we were young we were always together, Paul and Tony, Lulu and Linda. At Christmas, at family weddings ( dancing the Mexican hat dance) and the beach (Weiner Roasts) at Gramma Dufaults (having Uncle Ernest take our picture on the porch)…. Riding in the Soap Box cars that Tony and Paul built. So many good memories. He always made me laugh. Although I haven't seen him for some time I would think of him often. Now he is gone to a better place with his Mom and Dad and out of pain. Until we meet again.

I am so sad that no longer will we hear that infectious laugh that to me always brings Paul to mind. Having only sisters the Gauthier boys became our brothers and protectors. Always looking out for their little cousins as they called us. To lose someone as caring as Paul so young leaves a whole in our hearts. We are all richer for the time we had with him and the memories we share.

Spending the summers in Bryson all those years ago is still something I think about almost daily. I couldn’t wait to make the short walk from Grandma Dufault’s house to visit my much loved cousin Paul. Once I got there I don’t think my parents saw me for the duration of the vacation. Through childhood and adolescence being with them is large part of who I am today. My condolences to all of the family. May the grief pass quickly.

So so sorry to hear this, I have many many memories of Paul. One of my favourite is when I was little he spent an afternoon pushing me on the swing in the front yard at Aunt Mamie's. He taught me how to whistle using my fingers I remember being so happy and proud! He had a wonderful smile. I am sending my hugs and prayers to the entire family.
