Our heartfelt condolences to Muriel, Jay, Michael & all the Young family on the loss of Hal. My first remembrance of Hal was getting a ride up from Ottawa with him, Muriel & Susie as a young teenager and “Just call me Angel of the morning” was playing on the radio as we all sang along. Every time I hear that song, I think of all of you. Since then, Hal endured a lot of hardship and pain but he made the best of life and I think he had a lot of fun times too. Every time we saw him, he always had a smile and a story or memory to share. I visited him in St. Vincent’s Hospital from time to time and he never complained, not even about the food, even after spending more than a year in hospital. No doubt he has earned his heavenly rewards and is now enjoying time with family and friends who have gone before him. Wishing you all comfort and peace!

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to you all on the recent loss of Hal. Although he lived a good portion of his life in pain and spent a lot of time in hospitals, he seldom complained. I visited him on several occasions at St. Vincent’s and my heart always went out to him for what he had to endure. May you take solace in knowing that now he is no longer in pain and is with his brothers and other loved ones in Heaven. God bless.
