Dale was like an uncle to me. Between tobogganing with the horses in winter or bailing hay in the summers and all the phone calls in between! His home was a place of comfort and love. The girls, while you might not remember me, were so much fun to hang out with.
Dale was honest, loving and all around a great human

Jacqueline and Josée, I am so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your dad. I remember when Mark and I went to his farm as kids for a few days, where we learned how to bale hay at the crack of dawn! Good lesson for some city kids. My deepest sympathies, Crissy.

Dale was my friend and someone I really looked up to as a teenager. Strong as a bear yet as friendly and jolly as Santa. I've had the great honor to have worked with him as well as many shared adventures. I remember once being stuck in a blizzard back country with Dale many years ago. It was a perilous situation that required a long hike and Dale's joking of the circumstances and hearty laughing got us through that night to safety. No matter what the situation his upbeat never quit attitude would always conquer the odds. Since those days I've been around the globe several times and in no land have I come across anyone with the combination of virtues and character to rival him. The world has lost a great man yet Heaven has gained a mighty spirit. May our Heavenly Father keep you in peace always my dear ol friend. My deepest condolences to sister Joan and all of his family. My deepest condolences to all of Dale's family especially his daughters. Dale was a unique character...they just don't make 'em like him anymore. I hired Dale to build my fence many years ago, and ended up with a good friend. Rest in Peace now Dale.

Thoughts and prayers are with all of Dale's family at this time. I always considered Dale another brother. He could always provide a good laugh and story no matter the occasion. Heaven has accepted an angel if his face is dirty, Mary is there to wipe it clean for him. He will be kept alive with all the good memories we have of him at Puddle Alley, Wierstead, and Bristol Ridge area.
