Obituary of Jean Thompson (nee McCagg)

Jean Thompson (nee McCagg) 1936-2020 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Beloved daughter of the late Teason McCagg and the late Alma Park. Loving mother of Jody Thompson and Jana McCormick (Marc). Special grandmother of Jasen Thompson (Jessica) and great grandmother of Zoey. She leaves to mourn her sisters Grace Stewart (late Bob) and Margaret Firobin (late Ahart) and predeceased by brother George. She will be missed by nephews Rick, David, Leslie and Teason Stewart. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday November 8, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 in the Shawville United Church, Shawville, Quebec at 11 a.m. Interment Austin Cemetery.
