Obituary of Leona Lepine

Peacefully in hospital, Shawville, Québec on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of 55 years of Denis Lépine. Loving mother of Micheline (Jean Charbonneau), Jeannine (Brian Liko), André (Carol Ronaldi) and the late Brigitte Denise. Dear grandmother of Martin, Mélanie, Valérie (Maxime), Myriam, Katrine, Bryana and Kevin. Dear great grandmother of Xavier and Alexia. Predeceased by her parents Ella and Léo Boisvert. Survived by her brothers Loyola (Odette), Clarence (Liane), her sisters Beatrice (late Burke) & Freda. Predeceased by brother Laurier and his wife Suzanne. A sincere thank you to the staff of the Shawville hospital and her physician, Dr. Lucie Mutchmore for the excellent care provided. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Funeral will be held on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St.John's the Evangelist Church, 160 Front St., Campbell's Bay, Québec. Interment Parish Cemetery. A light lunch will follow the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Leona Lepine est décédée à l’hôpital de Shawville, Québec le vendredi 18 juillet 2014, a l’âge de 74 ans. Epouse bien aimée de 55 ans de Denis Lépine. Fille de feu Léo et Ella (née Denault) Boisvert. Mère de Micheline (Jean Charbonneau), Jeannine (Brian Liko), André (Carol Ronaldi) et de feu Brigitte Denise. Grand-mère de Martin, Mélanie, Valérie (Maxime Champagne), Myriam, Katrine, Bryana et Kevin, arrière grand-mère de Xavier et d’Alexia. Prédécédée par son frère Laurier et son épouse Suzanne. Merci a tous les employés de l’hôpital de Shawville ainsi que son médecin Dr. Lucie Mutchmore pour les soins exceptionnels. Le service religieux sera célébré le lundi 28 juillet 2014 à 11h00 à l’église St. John the Evangelist, Campbell’s Bay, Québec. L’inhumation au Cimetière Paroissial. Un léger gouter sera servi par la suite de l’inhumation. Des dons à la fondation de l’hôpital communautaire du Pontiac seraient appréciés.
