It was always a pleasure talking with your father, I would go over to your place see you guys and I would get talking to your dad about heavy equipment it was in his element and its funny because back then when I was a kid I wanted to become an electrician then took a different path and started operating heavy equipment. Dear Jason, Justin And Janet,
Micheline and I send out our sincere condolences and prayers on your loss. Denis was a special guy, quiet and a wise clear thinker. I remember many conversations with Denis. He would stop by the cottage as he drove to or from various jobs he was doing in the area. We always discussed his beloved tractors, this model or the one he was going to get. I would often ask his advice about jobs that needed to be done around the cottage, Denis was generous and clear with his comments. How things needed to be done, who could do them and the benefits of doing things at all.
Denis's goodness and friendliness has always reflected in yourself and the boys. Saying hello at church and the boys stopping in at the cottage to just say hello always warmed our hearts. Take care, John and Micheline

Many memories of going to your place and seeing your dad and mom. Your dad was probably annoyed seeing me; since I was taking you guys away from the chores he had planned for you that day. Or maybe it was him knowing, that we agreed you guys would be home at a certain time and he knew in the back of his mind, that wasn't going to happen, cause at the end of the day, he was over at our cottage looking for you two.

The news of Denis’ passing is a shock to everyone who knew him! The community is at a loss in many ways and he will be greatly missed whether it be the card club, the dart club, the residents whom he drove to medical appointments, the Golden Age social evenings etc.
