Obituary of Frederick Provost

Frederick John Joseph PROVOST After a lengthy illness and surrounded by his loving children, grandchildren, brothers & sisters, Fred passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Fred was predeceased by his wonderful & loving wife, Bertha Hamilton (June, 2013) and parents Henri & Annie Provost. Left behind to mourn are his children Terry (Shelley), Patty (Scott) and Lisa and his grandchildren Brandon, Cody, Hannah and Allysha. Beloved brother of Forbes (Céline), Eric (Donna), Ricky (Heather), Milda (Wayne Lebrun), Malinda, Thérèse (Carl Demell), Glenda (Ivan Nitschke), Glen (Wendy) and Nancy (Roger Villeneuve). Predeceased by sisters Madeleine (Red CHamberot), Hélène (Maurice Milford), and brother Claude (Joanne). Beloved stepfather to Dolores (Gordon Tanner), Denise (Jacques Filion), Annette (late Guy Gagnon), Linda (Yvon Sarazin), Juliann (Bob Kristoff), Marie (Robert Pilon), Darleen (Eddie Kluke), Leo (Louise), & Peter (Mary Ann). He will be sadly missed by many nieces & nephews and great nieces & great nephews. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pinello and all staff of Shawville Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided. Visitation will be held in St. Mary’s Church, Quyon, Quebec on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at which time a service will take place. Interment of ashes will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations to Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
