Eleanor was a strong woman. Strong in her love of family, church and farming. Always smiling and pleasant to talk to. She lit up the world with her dazzling smile. We on earth have lost a beautiful soul and heaven has gained a new one.

Aunt Eleanor was always my inspiration . She had a ready smile, great words of encouragement and fresh bread buns or a pie to share.
I remember her walking through my gardens for Tanyelle’s wedding at our place. She loved admiring gardens and flowers and everything outdoors.
This lady never just walked. She was always on the run , or hopping up from her chair, or getting something for her company.
Her life as a a strong woman with always her husband and family as her priority, will be my most precious memory.
Love always to all the family .

Dear Donna and family.
I was just thinking of your mom today, and wondering how she was doing, when I saw the obituary. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I know you know how much I thought of her, and what a pleasure it was to serve her in the boutique. She always made me feel so good about her clothes, and she always was so upbeat and positive, no matter how ill she felt. I will miss her so much, so I can just imagine how you and your family feel. Please extend my sincere sympathy to everyone. Heaven has gained what we have lost.

I remember on one of our visits to Canada we went out to see Percy and Eleanor and she drove up in her tractor and got out and greeted us and then asked us what we thought of her brand new tractor with air-conditioning and stereo. She was so proud of it. Great moment. I’m so glad to have known her. So sorry for your loss.
