Obituary of Ellen Smith

Peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2014 in Shawville Hospital, after a brief illness. Predeceased by parents George Smith and Lillian Elliott. She will be lovingly remembered by the Kelly Family; Theresa (late Ryburn), Joanne (Gary), Jeff (Leslie) & Barry (Gaetan), Trevor, Kelsey, Krysta and Brea. Will also be dearly missed by her sister Muriel Mitchell, niece Heather Pitt & nephew Ian Pitt. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Andrew’s United Cemetery, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec. A special thanks to the staff of Shawville Hospital for their kindness & compassion. Donations to St. Andrew’s United Church Cemetery or the Friends of St. Joseph Manor would be appreciated.
