Dear Danny & Brown Families & Mavis:
So sorry for the loss of your brother and husband, David.
You and I were friends in the 70's when we went to Campbell's Bay Elementary School. We hung around with Connie Brown, Dana Burman, Bruce Levesque, Paul Sullivian and a few others.
I remember going to your house many times and meeting your parents.
I know we have not been in touch for almost 50 years now, but I still remember our friendship.
Please e-mail me if you want to catch up on old times at eldon.ostrom@tlb.sympatico.ca
Take care & sorry for your loss;
Eldon Ostrom

Mavis and Brown Family: We are so sorry to hear of the passing of David. "Snowball", as we all knew him, grew up in our family neighborhood; we all hung out together and he used to help my dad and brothers in any way he could. He was always there to lend a helping hand. Please accept our sincere condolences - another one taken too early; God has gained another angel. Rest in peace Snowball.

Mavis and family. How sad we are for you. David was such a friendly man cannot think of anyone who did not like him. Always willing to lend a helping hand or when he was on garbage detail just stop for a wee chat. He will be missed. His suffering is finally over. We chatted with him a few months ago at the hospital and he was telling us the cancer had worsened but he said he was going to fight as much as he could and with no self pity. May you all take comfort in knowing how much he was liked in our community and that now he is at peace. Are thoughts are with you all in this dark time. God speed David (Snowball).
