I have so many fond memories of Barb going back to Eastview High School...which she liked to remind me it wasn't her that did those things.and I would remind her "she" was the only "smartie pants" I knew. We had a few good laughs at that. I also remember her as Wendy's Maid of Honour at Wendy&Bob's wedding. She was so gorgeous that day (and always) and full of Joy. That was something you could say about Barb...She was so full of Joy!!! An amazing woman who always had time for everyone, always a kind word and a terrific sense of humour. So many great qualities for one woman and lots of happy memories.
She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and she will always bring happy memories to those of us left behind.
My deepest condolences to Randy and Jennifer and Bobby and Wendy...and all the girls...

I spoke to barb just last week. She was her usual cheerful self. I met barb when we were in our early teens, over 60 years ago. We walked to school together every day.
I was the maid of honour at her wedding. Barbs cheery personality never changed over the years. When I left after a visit with her, I was always amazed how she always made you feel happy and upbeat. What a memory she had. I brought my brother ( who she had a crush on inour younger days) and he only had to say hi to her and she recognized him. I will miss her. My sincere condolences to the family.

I first met Barb 35 or more years ago through the Merleau family and knew of her through Bob even before that (i.e. 50 yrs ago) and she was a beautiful, kind and funny woman then and never lost her sense of humour even through the many challenges life threw in her way. My sincere condolences to you, Bobby, Wendy , and Randy and all the family. We all have wonderful memories of this woman who was a genuine treasure.

My deepest sympathy ,I am truly devastated and greatly saddened. To me Barb is and always will be my sister-in-law.She was a great friend and I spent many days visiting her.MS ravished her body, took her legs and then her sight but she accepted these disabilities and rarely complained.I recall when she lost her second leg I was hesitant to visit but upon arrival and I quote, she replied(What do I need those old legs for anyway,I don’t leave my room)That was Barb, always always optimistic and it was always my pleasure to see her.Covid prevented me from visiting but not from leaving messages on your phone (which now understand went unanswered)So long my friend, you will not be forgotten.

Barb was my mother in law and we always used to joke that we respectively had the best mother and daughter in laws in the world. Barb and I had many things in common. Her positivity and her gift to gab were two of my favorite. We would talk for hours on the phone and when we moved back to Ontario to be close to family we could finally talk more in person. Barb adored her grandchildren Emilia and Abigail. They brought so much joy to her life. She absolutely loved her son Randy, her brother Bob and the rest of her loving family and friends. Barb was my mother in law and my frined. She will be sorely missed. I love you Barb.

Hi Bob: I just came across the obituary for Barb & realized that we never responded. We have thought about Barb so many times over the years & actually spoke with her many years ago & that she had MS. We are so sorry for you & Randy & families; it's a great loss to everyone. This picture here is how I remember Barb. We had so many laughs when we were younger. We hope you are doing well & that Randy is doing well too. Our deepest condolences in the loss of a sweet woman.
