Dear Joan, Elwyn, Joyce & Carol (and for that matter Margaret, Lawerence, Jack & Lynn)
Thank you so much to the entire Lang clan for continuing the example set by Lawrence & Margaret, in serving your respective communities. I always felt so welcome at the home farm when I was a kid, and later at their house in Shawville, as well as at Elwyn's and Jack's when visiting my Mom. I always so enjoyed crashing Lang gatherings on Labor Day weekend. Margaret's kind warm smile (especially when gazing and grand and great-grand children) was always so welcoming when she answered the door. Her memory of names, who was whom, their entire family tree and life history; always amazed me even when I last talked to her in Feb. She will be very missed by the multitude she touched and influenced AND will always be remembered fondly.
If you just ask yourself "What would Margaret do, or expect me to do in this situation?" you will not go far wrong.

My oldest memory of Margaret Lang was when they took me and my sister into their house after we were in a horrid car accident and our parents had to be in Ottawa with my brother. Mr and Mrs Lang gave us a glimpse of farm life that as city kids we knew nothing about. My most constant memory was Mrs Lang on the pump organ in Radford Church on Sunday’s. An angel on earth. I am so sad to hear of Margaret's passing I am a former employee of St. Joseph's Manor and just loved that lady. She was so interesting to talk to and that memory of hers especially when it came to family. I last saw Margaret in January when I visited the home I kept her for last so i would have time for a proper chat as she would say. She overcame a lot of obstacles and endured many setbacks but always with grace and patience as she would say well there is always someone worst off. Was looking forward to visiting after this trying time we are now in. I will miss her and that smile of hers. God speed Margaret.
