Obituary of Robert Brouse

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert (Bob) Brouse on February 23, 2020 at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of 46 years to the late Mary Peeples. Bob was predeceased by his parents Adam and Celestine Brouse, his brothers Artie and Billy, his sisters Margaret and Joan and his step-son Calvin Johnston. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy (Ken) Gonneau, Catherine (Arthur) Richards and Carmie (Paul) Tait, his step-sons John (Karen) Stephens, Glen (Celine) Stephens, Alvin (Debbie) Johnston, Ray (Joanne) Johnston, as well as his cherished 13 step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren. Bob loved nothing better than shooting the bull with old friends and new friends over “a” beer (ha ha). His love for the outdoors and his preserves will always be remembered as well as his antics in his old stomping grounds in the Swisha. Thank you to the staff at the Long Term Section in the Shawville Hospital for the great care they gave Bob during his stay. The Celebration of Life has been postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 circumstances.
