Obituary of Benson Moffatt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Benson announces his peaceful passing in Long Term Care, Shawville, Quebec on January 23, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Son of the late Walter and Willetta Moffatt. Benson was a third generation dairy farmer in Clarendon. Beloved husband of Joan for 56 years. Loving father of Darryl (Angela), Barry (Patti) and David (Diana). Cherished grandfather of Carissa, Canyssa, Sofie, Sheridan and Beatrix. Dear brother of Harland (Velma) and Emily (Vaughan Reynolds). Brother-in-law of Catherine (Paul Tanser) and predeceased by John (Alice). Survived by several nieces and nephews. The family takes great comfort in knowing that Benson has been welcomed home by his Lord and Saviour. Friends may call at Hayes Funeral Home, 134 Centre Street, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral will be held in New Hope Christian Fellowship Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
