Dear Peggy, Corey and family,
We are thinking of you all and remembering all the things Roger helped us with over the years at Petit Lac Cayamant. We greatly value your friendship and Roger’s sage advice on so many different things. We have long thought of Roger as the anchor of our little community on the road. Fortunately we have two buildings that Roger built for us on our property as a reminder of our relationship with your family. The drive down Chemin Beaudoin will never be the same without seeing the garage door open and the smile and wave from that man inside.
So sorry for this very significant loss to you all.

Bonjour Cory - - Please know how terribly sorry I am that you have had to endure all of this... words cannot express. Your father is somewhere better and he will continue to always look over you and your mom. He will continue to be the voice of reason when you are about to make a rash decision, the voice of encouragement when you doubt yourself and the voice of love when you need it most.
I am of course going to want to see you and give you a hug or two but only when you are ready and not before. I know you are going to need to retreat, get lots of rest and go through this in your own way. Just promise me that you will not go back to work until you are ready. The job will always be there, just take care of yourself!!

My heart-felt condolences to Peggy, Cory and the rest of the family. My son (Colin) and I got to know Roger and his family very well during recent years at the Lake. He was kind, generous and had a great sense of humor. He helped and supported, not just us, but many new cottages at the lake in establishing our homes. He would often drop in for a drink or to lend a hand on a project.
The only thing he wouldn't share was his favorite hunting and fishing spots! I can't blame there.
Generous spirit by nature. We will miss him, tremendously.
